It has been said that there is no distance too far between friends. For Wells and me, this has certainly been true. We have never lived in the same city, and for the last 8 years, we have lived in different states. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will find her way back to Georgia soon, but in the meantime, we keep in touch via Gchat, email, text conversations, and occasional phone calls. Despite the distance, Wells and I try to closely keep up with each other’s lives; we’ve shared excitement and anticipation in getting accepted into grad school, read the Twilight series together and debated our favorite characters, and even sent each other Valentine’s Day gifts one year when we were both single. Wells– Court and I really hope to welcome you and Ryan back to Atlanta one day, but in the meantime, I’ll always be grateful for the dedication you have had to our friendship over the years.
Here are a few of Wells’ favorite things:
Favorite food: chips and salsa, tacos, sour candy
Song that will get you on the dance floor every time: Jessie’s Girl
Favorite sports team (either college or professional): Clemson Tigers (first love) & UT Vols (secondary)
Favorite TV show: Pretty Little Liars (yes, I am a teen) & The Good Wife
Fun fact about you: I speak German and am an excellent pumpkin carver
